A modern cement and wood vineyard estate overlooking hillside vines at golden hour.

The Estate / I

Earlywine Vineyards

Three generations on a single south-facing hillside. Wines made by hand, allocated by introduction, attended to by the families who have long known this place.

Origin / II

Place is the first author.

Forty-two acres of volcanic soil above the fog line. The same family of vines tended since 1962. Each vintage is the record of a particular year on a particular slope, and of nothing else.

The Allocation / III

Released by hand, in measured sequence.

Fewer than 1,400 cases leave the cellar each year. Members receive an allocation shaped to their cellar, their drinking horizon, and the relationship the estate has come to know.

Allocation engine12bottles

Vertical continuity, library access, and a longer drinking horizon. The cellar grows with intention.

The Cellar / IV

From harvest to finely aged.

Twenty-four months in French oak. Library verticals held back through the decade. The patience of the cellar is what the glass eventually receives.

Hospitality / V

Visits composed for you, before the gate opens.

A private day at the estate begins long before arrival. Your host studies your cellar, your guests, and the wines you have favored, then arranges what should pour, and in what order.

Editorial vineyard, bottle, and cement wall studies in warm natural light.

Standards / VI

Quiet, because the work is already done.

No tasting room. No wholesale. No pour you did not request. Restraint is what allows the estate to remain itself.

I

Single estate. One hillside. No exceptions.

II

Allocations shaped to each member.

III

Hospitality prepared before arrival.

IV

Library verticals held for active members.

Membership / VII

Begin a quiet conversation with the estate.

Membership is extended by introduction. Inquire to be considered for a future allocation, or to arrange a private visit when next you find yourself nearby.
